One of my favorite things to do is to update the hardware on furniture. It’s such an easy and inexpensive thing to do that really gives your furniture a facelift. All you need is new drawer hardware and a screwdriver.
My aunt kindly gifted us this dresser when we bought our house. I love it and it’s such a solid piece of furniture. To better match our decor, I upgraded the hardware with a more modern look. I bought these drawer pulls off of Amazon. Unfortunately, I was having some trouble finding the right size screw to fit the pulls, so I had to add some nuts and washers in order to get the screw tight.
Look around at furniture, cabinets, closet doors and see if you can upgrade their hardware to give it an updated feel.
I also lined the dresser’s drawers with some wrapping paper to give it a finishing touch. I secured the wrapping paper with Tic ‘N Stik. I linked the supplies that I used below.
