I can’t believe we moved into our house a year ago this week. Thankfully, throughout the house, all of the walls were neutral. There were no crazy colors or ugly wallpaper. I didn’t mind the neutral color, but staring at the same tone in every room was boring. So after my dad helped install the chair railing, I decided to paint the room white and olive green. It’s challenging to visualize the chair railing in the pictures, but in person it’s an addition that adds texture and gives the room a sophisticated feel. As we put the final touches on the room, it’s a much more welcoming space! If you know anyone handy with a nail gun, consider adding trim to a room for an upgraded, classy look.
