I found this IKEA nightstand on Facebook Marketplace for free. I knew with some paint and new hardware, I could make this nightstand alive again! So I listed the steps below on how I transformed this piece.
- First, I scrubbed it down and cleaned it.
- I removed the original knobs and then filled the holes with wood fill.
- I gave it a light sanding and then wiped off the dust.
- I spray painted it and then let it dry (I repeated this step twice).
- Then sprayed it thoroughly with a top coat to protect it.
- The final step was adding two new holes for the drawer pull and installing it.
